Meet Dr. Kevin Byun

Dr. Kevin Byun graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and brings his passion for preventive and restorative care to Timberlands Dental Clinic. He’s dedicated to helping patients maintain their oral health and feel comfortable throughout their care.

Kevin takes pride in providing care that’s tailored to each patient’s needs. His clinical skills and attention to detail were recognised in 2021 when his case placed top three in the 3M Clinical Case Competition. He regularly participates in professional development to maintain and expand his clinical knowledge.

Understanding that dental visits can feel daunting, Kevin creates a calm, welcoming environment where your comfort comes first. Of South Korean descent, he is fluent in Korean and connects with a diverse patient base. Outside the clinic, you’ll find him fishing, squidding, or crabbing—hobbies that reflect his patient, detail-oriented nature.
